About Run Life

 

Run Life, LLC was started in early 2020 by Robert Nichols and Megan McCarthy. We are a husband and wife team, who have been in the race industry in Southern California for about 10 years.  

 

We created and organized two major running events in Encinitas, CA ~ The Surfing Madonna Beach Run (officially the largest beach run in the world by Guinness Book of World Records) and the Encinitas Half Marathon. We started off very small and not knowing exactly what we were doing with a lot of trial and error. We realized there's no better way to perfect an event than by listening to the feedback (good and bad) from the participants. That has been the key to our success. When given the chance, the participants will tell you what works and what doesn't. Very valuable information and word of mouth is 50% of advertising.

Our goal with Run Life challenges is to expand our participant base to fitness lovers all over the country and world by offering affordable, FUN challenges that keep people healthy and motivated.

We want to give everyone the chance to accomplish a tough endurance challenge, so each challenge is created with all fitness levels in mind. None of them are easy, but they are all attainable through commitment and accountability.

The Endurance Challenges are a little different than virtual races. Our challenges are aimed to help you build strength (mental and physical), keep you motivated, train for an in-person race, and further your commitment to your health and fitness while having fun and earning some serious race bling!

Nothing means more to us than our participants! We encourage everyone to send in your thoughts, ideas, compliments, complaints, how we can improve, challenge ideas, etc. We love hearing from you!
