Hunting BIGFOOT: The mission is simple. The pursuit is not.

​

Run, walk, or hike 150 miles in three months or less while tracking one of the most elusive legends of all time! Every mile you log moves you deeper into the wilderness — and closer to whatever is out there.

​

This isn’t just a distance challenge. It’s a story-driven pursuit.

​

As you progress, you’ll receive official clues by email that reveal new developments in the hunt. Some updates raise more questions than answers. Some suggest you’re gaining ground. And some make you wonder if you’re the one being tracked.

Complete all 150 miles and you’ll unlock the final Official Field Report and discover whether the legend is real or just a decades old myth.

How this works:

On April 1st, the Live Leaderboard will officially open on RunSignUp.com. The Live Leaderboard allows participants to view real-time results and see their mileage progression. There are 2 ways to log your activities to the leaderboard - Manual or Automatic.

MANUAL METHOD:

This method is preferred if you don't want to carry your smart phone while you complete your activities. You may use whatever tracking method or device you prefer. Either daily, weekly or monthly, you'll go to RunSignUp.com to enter in your miles and upload photos (optional). You're place on the leaderboard will be determined by distance completed.

AUTOMATIC METHOD (Syncing):

We've partnered with RACEJOY to bring you the best virtual experience possible! RaceJoy is a GPS-based mobile app that can be used for all of your outdoor running, walking and hiking activities. This is available to each participant, but it's not required.

• Live GPS Tracking: RaceJoy provides real-time tracking based on your phone's GPS.

• Progress Alerts: Receive audio updates at every mile, including information on your pace, elapsed time, and estimated finish time. These alerts help you stay informed about your performance during your activity. 

• Cheer Sending: Supporters can send motivational, pre-recorded audio clips or personalized text-to-cheer messages that are delivered in audio format. This feature allows your friends and family to encourage you remotely, enhancing your challenge experience. 

• Automatic Results Submission: Upon completing your activity, RaceJoy automatically submits your results to the Live Leaderboard, eliminating the need for manual entry.  

• Social Sharing: You have the option to share your progress on social media platforms like Facebook, allowing your network to follow your challenge journey.​​

SHIPPING:

FREE shipping for USA orders. International participants are welcome, but an additional $25 shipping fee will apply at the time of registration. Once your package is shipped, you'll receive an email with a tracking number. Packages will be shipped approximately in May of 2026.

LEADERBOARD & RESULTS:

• Starting April 1st, you can manually log miles via RunSignUp or use the RaceJoy App to auto-sync your miles as you go. 

• Your name, location, time, and pace display live on the leaderboard. *An "anonymous" display option is available.

• Leaderboard ranks by distance—this is a fun challenge, not a race.

• See your progress in real time!
